These are the basic hardware components necessary to physically mate a 6L80/90E Transmission to a GMT360 truck with AWD or 4WD drivetrain (Saab 9-7x, Isuzu Ascender, Oldsmobile Bravada, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, ChevyTrailblazer), SSR plus Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon/Hummer H3. In most applications, this system maintains factory rear driveshaft and front propeller shaft lengths, positioning, and pinion angles.
NOTE:(1)6L80/90E 4WD/AWD transmissions utilize a larger 32 spline output shaft with a different spline count than the 4L70E 4WD/AWD transmissions (27 spline). This requires the NVG NR9 and NP8 (RPO codes) transfer case's input shaft to be changed to accommodate 6L80/90 transmissions. (2)Additionally, 6L80E transmissions have a different overall length and output shafts than 6L90E transmissions and therefore require different adapters and transfer case input shafts. It is recommended that the transmission be selected before ordering. (3) Lastly, GMT360 AWD (RPO NR9) transfer case input shafts differ from 4WD (RPO NP8) transfer case input shafts and therefore require customer specification of vehicle/transfer case application to fulfil order.
GM 6 Speed Automatic Conversion Systems consists of the following:
-GM Six Speed Automatic Transmissions (FWD or RWD in power applications up to 900 HP/TQ)
-Bolt-in and/or plug & play components (Engine/Transmission Modules, harness, and hardware components to properly maintain drivetrain component alignments)

Plug and Play means different things to different people and companies. Therefore we felt it was necessary to define what it means to TBMSport.
"Plug and Play" installation means CONSIDERATION. FIRST consideration is attributed to the applicable vehicle's original components and their attributes; in other words, the various components' locations, functions, and fitments.That means TBMSport parts and connections must fit and seal exactly like the OEM parts. SECOND consideration is given to the installer and service technician. How can the installation process be as easy as possible and how do you insure that maintenance and diagnostic services cause as little confusion as possible? THIRD consideration is given to the present and future vehicle owners. Quality products have always been a top priority for TBMSport. Therefore, fit, finish, and function must not negatively impact the vehicle's resale value. Therefore, components must always be as easy to return to OEM specifications and condition with the same level of ease that it took to install it.

MY2002-06:TBMSport GM 6 Speed Automatic Independent Control Module Emulator
The T43 electronic control module in GM's 6 speed automatic transmission is an auxillary module that requires specific, real time signals from GM's engine control module by way of CAN bus wiring. The managment system was so complex that we didn't even think the T43 could be seperable from the ECM. But it is now available. An independent ECM emulator "standalone" module for GM's T43 controlled 6 speed transmissions. Now, you can run the 6 speed automatic transmission of your choice regardless of the generation of your GM engine management system, or lack there off.
Whether you're running an independent PCM/LTI/TPI, Carburetor, or GM LSx 24X ECM engine system, you can now have T43 (TCM) 6L80/90E 6 speed automatic performance and fuel economy.

MY2007+: OBD II 58X ELECTRONIC 4L60/65/70/80E to 6L80/90E COMPONENTS
This is the easy conversion system for a select group of factory GM and standalone wiring harness equipped vehicles utilizing 58x crankshaft sensor technology. The the basic system components necessary to allow functionality currently utilizing a 58x native ECM with an electronically controlled T42 Transmission Control Module (TCM) 4L60/65/70/80E.
Full vehicle functionality (including cruise control, 4 wheel drive, and ABS) is maintained without the headache of extensive rewiring. Some minor ECM/TCM reprogramming is necessary. Adding TapUp/TapDown functionality varies with vehicles and ECM operating systems.
TBMSport's MY2007+ T42-T43 Transmission Interface System* consists of the core electronic components necessary to convert the following E38 ECM GM vehicles from 4L70 transmissions to a 6L80/90:
NOTE: E67 ECM will require minor tuning and calibration programming adjustments through software such as EFILive or HPTuners. Some 2007 model years may require a new ECM or full OS reflash. Transmission may require T43 and/or OS module change. Pre programmed T43 module available separately and highly recommended for system compatibility. While the LS V8 gets most of the glory and fame, the workhouse Atlas 4/5/6 cylinder enginesare no slouches and deserve the same benefit of a 6 speed automatic. Unfortunately, their unique starter location will not allow for a direct bolt-in to the LS V8 transmission bellhousing. But we at TBM have a solution in the form of an adapter plate kit. TBMSport guarantees full 6 speed automatic shifting performance (not including Tap Up/Down function) when providing complete system components. Quoted prices paid will include all required components up to a maximum amount of $250 for any additional parts required to complete the project which TBMSport failed to include in quote; omitted/withheld information from the customer not withstanding. TBMSport, nor any affiliates, are responsible for incompatible or negative performance results due to electronics, services, components and/or programming sourced by the customer from another party.
